District Office
Key Club members interested in running for a District Executive position (District Governor, District Secretary, or District Treasurer) must adhere to the outlined steps below, complete the required documents, and meet the deadlines set by the CNH District. Elections for these positions will occur during District Convention (DCON) in April.
Step #1: Register & Attend District Officer Candidate Training Conference (DOCTC)
MANDATORY to run for District Office
When: Saturday, February 7th, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST / 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM HST
Where:
North - Kiwanis Family House (Sacramento, CA)
South - Kiwanis District Office (Rancho Cucamonga, CA)
Hawai’i - Zoom (Virtual)

Registration Deadline: Saturday, January 31st, 2026 @11:59pm Local Time
For a Non-Attendance Exception Approval request, please email the following individuals at least one (1) week before the training conference:

Step #2: Complete the District Officer Service Agreement and Intent to Run Form.

Step #3: Receive Division Endorsement
While not mandatory, it is highly recommended that candidates seek endorsement from their home division.
Step #4: Submit Materials to the Policy, International Business, & Elections (PIE) Chair
Candidates will be required to submit various items for their candidacy, which include a literature (1 sided), a candidate profile, and video responses to specific questions.
Step #5: Prepare for District Convention
Prepare for DCON by crafting speech(es) and practicing responses to caucus questions.
International Office
Key Club members interested in running for an International position (International President, International Vice President, or International Trustee) must adhere to the outlined steps below, complete the required documents, and meet the deadlines set by the CNH District and Key Club International.
Please note that to run for International office, you are required to receive endorsement by the CNH District during DCON in April. If you are not endorsed, you may not pursue International office.
Step #1: Register & Attend International Officer Candidate Training Conference (IOCTC)
MANDATORY to run for International Office
When: Sunday, February 22nd, 2026
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 PM PST / 3:00 - 4:30 PM HST
