GOVERNOR’S PROJECT
Food insecurity is a growing global concern. During moments of crisis, access to a warm, comforting meal can provide more than physical nourishment. It can offer emotional reliefand remind individuals that they are not alone. As the world continues to face natural disasters and emergencies, supporting organizations that act quickly and compassionately is essential.
This project promotes World Central Kitchen (WCK), a nonprofit founded by chef José Andrés that provides fresh and hot meals in the immediate aftermath of disasters. By hiring and buying locally, WCK not only feeds those in need but also helps empower communities to rebuild stronger. Visit wck.org to learn more about their mission, programs, and ways to support or donate.
