Color A Smile and Bean Bean Bean

ML, Los Alamitos, D30S

As of previous years, Color A Smile and Bean Bean Bean have always been successful, but it has shown significant growth as of recently. This has especially been the case as of the past few months. Throughout the months of May and June, Color A Smile and Bean Bean Bean have soared to become the most popular service activities within Los Alamitos Key Club. It even brought attention to other students at Los Alamitos High, who were not already familiar with Key Club, and led them to become interested in what the club has to offer. Thus, it led to six students, all new to Key Club, to participate in Color A Smile along with the other members. As people are more appealed to the idea of easy community service hours, hopefully this brings in more members for the upcoming term. As for the current members, Color A Smile and Bean Bean Bean has granted them the opportunity to engage in community service acts during their free time at home. While many members are unable to drive long distances, especially since Los Alamitos is far from the division, they are still able to participate in the club even if they are unable to make it to certain events. Additionally, they have gone above and beyond to make the club become more active since the past few terms with each of them doing 20 pages of Color a Smile and 8 hours of Bean Bean Bean. Some even went beyond this amount, which shows the dedication of Los Alamitos Key Club’s members.
